Located in a bustling part of Dubai, McGettigan’s by Iris needed to stand out with a distinct architectural language. SAZ Steel rose to the challenge by developing a fully customised metal wall facade, robust outdoor furniture, and a freestanding entrance arch—each element designed for durability, elegance, and performance.
Full Metal Facade – The Signature Element
The centerpiece of the project is a custom-engineered metal wall panel structure that frames the venue’s exterior. This vertical cladding includes arched-top window panels set within a strong steel framework, finished in a rich matte green powder coating. The panels were precision-welded and powder-coated in-house to ensure lasting resistance against Dubai’s harsh sun and coastal humidity.
Above each arch, multicolor inset panels were installed to mimic stained glass, infusing the structure with vibrancy while maintaining a sophisticated look. The facade also features integrated mounts for lighting and audio systems, making it both beautiful and highly functional.
Custom Outdoor Furniture – Style Meets Durability
In addition to structural work, SAZ Steel provided custom outdoor restaurant furniture, including metal dining tables, chairs, planter boxes, and standing tables. These pieces were crafted from powder-coated steel to ensure both weather resistance and long-term usability.

This striking structure features a perfectly curved design with illuminated signage for “McGettigan’s at Iris,” making it a prominent branding feature—day or night.
The arch is fabricated entirely from high-grade steel and is anchored with steel base plates to ensure it remains stable against strong winds and outdoor elements. The powder-coated green finish ties it together with the venue’s main facade, creating a cohesive architectural identity across the property.
